Tommaso Simoncini, MD, PhD
Research Director
Born in Florence in 1971, he attained his MD from the University of Pisa in 1996 (magna cum laude).
He received a Ph.D. in Molecular and Experimental Medicine at the ecxellence institution “Scuola Superiore di Studi e di Perfezionamento S. Anna", Pisa, Italy in 2001 (Summa cum Laude, Honor of Publication of the Thesis).
Currently, he is a researcher in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Department of Reproductive Medicine and Child Development, Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Pisa.
Since 1999 he is the head of the Molecular and Cellular Gynecological Endocrinology Laboratory at the same institution.
